It is Kris' desire to continually grow, learn and equip himself, so that he can effectively fulfill his roles as a Husband, Father and Pastor. After a rewarding career in public education, as a high school English teacher, Kris went into full-time ministry.

With a Bachelors degree in Communication Studies from California State University of Long Beach, and a Masters degree in Education from the University of La Verne, he is presently pursuing his Doctoral studies at Talbot School of Theology, with an emphasis on Preaching the Literary Forms of the Bible. Effective communication has always been a primary passion of his, not only equipping himself to communicate effectively, but equipping others to do the same. After a rewarding career in Public education, Kris was poised to accept a job as the vice principal of a large high school. However, God had a different plan.

Kris, and his wife Amber, a full time mother of their three children are both Southern California natives, and are new transplants to the San Fernando Valley. The Cash family recently moved to Calabasas, living in Topanga Canyon, off of Mulholland Hwy. Their Children, two daughters (ages 4 & 5), and a son, (age 2) are active, energetic children who have readily adapted to a new life in the West Valley. The oldest is enjoying being a kindergartner in the Las Virgines Unified School District. Amber is actively involved in ministry as well. With a B.A. in Early Child Development from California State University Long Beach, she is an invaluable asset to Kris and the church in which they have chosen to serve.

A fundamental truth of Kris's ministry is a belief the Bible is the infallible, inspired Word of God. Kris is driven by a belief that God's word is without error in the original writings, and that God's Holy word contains the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. Ultimately it is a passionate belief that God's words as recorded in the Bible are the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life. It is that belief that compels Kris to preach verse by verse, chapter by chapter, and book by book. In so doing, a variety of topics will be thoughtfully treated.
