Woodland Hills church's ministry to its youngest ones is exciting and vital. It is the launching pad for nurturing of the faith of our next generation. Starting from the moment children come into our care, we take an intentional approach to nurturing their faith. Making our ministry to infants and toddlers an integral beginning - a place of prayer where young children hear foundational Bible stories, learn simple truth statements, and begin to memorize Scripture verses as they are able.

Children's Church Kindergarten through 8th grade

In our children's church, we have undertaken a chronological study on redemption, which will explore the incomparable greatness and worth of God, the desperate condition of helpless sinners, and the all-sufficient work of Jesus Christ to redeem sinful people. All lessons are done using age appropriate modes, methods and goals. All lessons are interactive, hands on and make the learning process fun for children.

Awana at Woodland Hills Church

Start Up Date September 15th

Awana is an international, Bible centered children's ministry, providing weekly clubs, programs and training for children Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our goal is to reach children and their families with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve. The acronym Awana is taken from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 1 Timothy 2:15.
