Woodland Hills Church seeks to be a place where college age adults can come and find the penetrating answers to God's word that they are looking for. The Church is conveniently located near California State University Northridge, Los Angeles Mission College, Los Angeles Valley College, Los Angeles Pierce College, the University of La Verne, the University of West Los Angeles, Woodbury University and Pepperdine University.

Primarily, Sunday morning preaching is done by Senior Pastor, Dr J Kent Edwards, a professor of preaching and leadership at Talbot School of Theology. Dr Edwards is a nationally recognized teacher of preachers, as well as an accomplished speaker and author. His extensive work and study have brought about the recent completion of his second book: Deep Preaching. Look for the book to be in print in the near future, published by Broadman and Holman publishing group.
